Overview
Senmark Industries (“Senmark,” “we,” “us”) operates the Senmark portal at app.senmarkpulse.com (the “Service”) - a business-to-business procurement and operations platform for quoting, purchasing, fulfillment, and document control. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information - your name, email address, role, and the company you belong to.
- Business data you enter - the records you create in the Service, such as RFQs, quotes, purchase and sales orders, suppliers, customers, inventory, invoices, and uploaded documents.
- Connected-service data - when you choose to link an integration, the data needed for that feature (see “Third-party integrations” below).
- Usage and device data - basic, privacy-preserving analytics (page views, performance) and the authentication cookie that keeps you signed in.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide and operate the Service - including to:
- Authenticate you and keep your company's data isolated from other companies.
- Store and display the records you create, and compute the metrics you ask for (e.g. break-even, margins, profit & loss).
- Provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data to advertise to you.
QuickBooks Online (Intuit) integration
If you connect QuickBooks Online, you authorize us to access certain accounting data through Intuit’s API - such as expense totals from your Profit & Loss report - solely to calculate and display operating-cost and profitability figures inside your portal. We use this data only to provide that feature. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with other companies on the platform.
You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from Settings. Disconnecting revokes our access and deletes the stored authorization tokens; you may also revoke access from within your Intuit account.
Google account data
Connecting your Google account is optional and is never required to use the Service. When you do connect it, we request only the access the feature needs:
- Sign-in (name, email address, profile picture) - to create and identify your account. This is the only Google data used when you simply sign in with Google.
- Gmail drafts (gmail.compose) - to place a prepared email into your Gmail drafts folder. We create drafts only. The Service does not send email on your behalf, and it does not read, search, or store the contents of your messages.
- Gmail labels (gmail.labels) - to read the unread count shown on the mail badge in the portal header. This returns counts only, not messages.
- Drive (full access) - to save documents the Service generates, such as quotes and purchase orders, and to list and preview files in the shared folder your company works from. This permission grants broad access to your Drive; the Service uses it only for the document features described here.
Senmark Operations Console’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer this data to others except as needed to provide the feature you asked for, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized.
You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings, which deletes the stored authorization tokens. You may also revoke access directly from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Third-party integrations and service providers
We rely on a small set of service providers (“subprocessors”) to run the platform. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service to us:
- Supabase - database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel - application hosting and performance analytics.
- Intuit (QuickBooks Online) - accounting data you choose to sync, as described above.
- Stripe - payment processing for invoices you send through the Service.
- Google (Drive, Gmail) - when connected, to save generated documents to your Drive or prepare email drafts on your behalf. See “Google account data” above for the specific permissions and how they are used.
- Anthropic and OpenAI - AI features that process the text you submit (e.g. an RFQ or quote) to extract fields or generate recommendations. This content is sent to the provider only to produce that result and is not used to train their models.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. You may request deletion of your data as described below; some records may be retained where required by law.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level isolation so each company can only access its own records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of incidents where required.
Your choices
- Access or correct your account information from within the Service.
- Disconnect any integration (QuickBooks, Google, Stripe) at any time.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Children, location, and changes
The Service is intended for businesses, not for children under 16. Data is processed and stored in the United States. We may update this policy from time to time; we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
